THE NOVEL

MY MEMORIES OF A FUTURE LIFE

If you were somebody’s past life…

What echoes would you leave in their soul?
Could they be the answers you need now?

It’s a question Carol never expected to face. She’s a gifted musician who needs nothing more than her piano and certainly doesn’t believe she’s lived before. But forced by injury to stop playing, she fears her life may be over. Enter her soulmate Andreq: healer, liar, fraud and loyal friend. Is he her future incarnation or a psychological figment? And can his story help her discover how to live now?

A novel in the tradition of The Time Traveller’s Wife, Vertigo and The Gargoyle, My Memories of a Future Life is much more than a ‘who was I’  tale. It is a multi-layered story of souls on conjoined journeys – in real time and across the centuries. It’s a provocative study of the shadows we don’t know are driving our lives, from our own pasts and from the people with us right now. It asks questions about what we believe, what we create and how we scare and heal each other.

Above all, it’s the story of how one lost soul searches for where she now belongs.

My Memories of a Future Life was originally  launched on the Kindle in 4 novellas of 25,000 words each.

Time traveler’s wife is one of my faves for a number of reasons, Gargoyle was captivating. Will look for Memories when it is released.

    Roz –
blessings. i am entranced with your writing and the first four chapters i just heard…i feel like we are supposed to work together…i heard you on joanna penn’s site today and when i heard what your novel was about, i couldn’t believe it, as i’m working on my first novel which has these very similar ideas…in addition to being an Evolutionary Astrologer, I am a past life regression therapist, rebirther, and musician….I actually did a rebirthing session today and processed much of my soul’s traumas from other lifetimes and this about not being able to bring my creative gifts to fruition – the piano is part of this…i am stunned and inspired by the synchronicity and feel it to be a sign that i should take the class with you and joanna beginning in November. I realize i need a lot of help with what i’m attempting to do with my writing because my scope is interdimensional and i’m more of a poet than a novelist…i’m also an astrology writer and have authored my first book Codex of the Soul: Astrology as a Spiritual Practice, and am working on another volume about the Wounded Healer….yes, juggling a lot…
AND really, i wanted to hear the rest of the novel, i assume tho, that you did not record the rest of it… these days, i’m not reading so much but almost exclusively listening to books – if you did record it, how can i get a copy? Again, thank you. I hope we can connect soon, i feel a kindred spirit for certain. You can learn more about me at soulalchemyastrology.com and see my dance/guitar/spoken word/astrology teaching on youtube under verdarluzmagi. Cheers.

      Hello Verdarluz
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment! Alas the rest of the book is available only in dumb text, but if you have a Kindle you can probably persuade it to read it to you (not ideal, I’ll admit). I do hope you’ll be tempted to try the text version – that’s where I designed it to work best anyway, between the reader’s eye and the mind. And I look forward to having you along for the course. Roz
